Metropolitan Police Investigate NW Shooting Death

WASHINGTON - Metropolitan Police Department (web|news) Detectives are investigating a shooting death along North Capitol Street Northwest.
Police report they received the call for a man shot in the 1200 block around 4:50 p.m. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. There is no word yet on a suspect or a motive.
