Landowners Unite for Tysons Rail

The group also hopes to weaken another coalition that has been trying for a year to build a tunnel under Tysons that would bury the rail tracks.
Tysons Tomorrow wants to end the pressure from tunnel advocates, fearing the push could cause further delays and scuttle the project.
The Federal Transit Administration is expected to decide in coming weeks whether to approve the rail project's first phase.

SAY NO TO THE TUNNEL---AND LETS SAY NO TO THE OVERHEAD EYESORE TOO. Now tell me, how long will it take for the taxpayers to recover the 2 billion dollar project...Right, forever. So why do we need this system in place. They are saying it will lesson the number of those on the roads in Northern Virginia. Folks, they want to build high rises all along Tysons-Rte 7 corridor which means thousands of more car owners, people needing to travel there for business and delivery trucks to supply those businesses. How is this going to help me? it's not, it's going to help Connolly and his business friends with the total cost being paid for by the taxpayers. Don't forget, more crime and gangs coming to the area with the same amount of cops to serve you.......Wake up, this does nothing to help your comute...So no to rail coming west......
