(Sports Network) - After winning the opener of a grueling, six-game road trip the Chicago Bulls have fallen on hard times.

Vinny Del Negro's club will try and right the ship on Thanksgiving Day when they pay a visit to the Utah Jazz at EnergySolutions Arena.

The Bulls fell to 1-3 on the trek Monday in Portland when LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden combined for 48 points and 25 rebounds in Portland's 122-98 win over Chicago.

Luol Deng had 25 points and John Salmons 22 for the Bulls, who lost for a third straight time on the road swing. Chicago will visit Milwaukee to finish the trip on Nov. 30.

"Our assist-to-turnover ratio was good tonight, but they outrebounded us by a lot and that was the difference in the game; their control of the glass," said Del Negro. "They were hurting us outside, they were hurting us inside a little bit, but I like the way we fought through in the third quarter to get back into the game, but we couldn't sustain it. We shot the ball decent tonight, but we gave up way to many easy field goals underneath."

Utah, meanwhile, fell to 1-1 on a season-high, six-game homestand on Tuesday when Kevin Durant scored 11 of his game-high 28 points in the pivotal third quarter, and the Thunder downed the Jazz, 104-94.

Carlos Boozer finished with 26 points and seven rebounds for the Jazz, who had a three-game winning streak broken. Mehmet Okur, who missed the previous three games with flu-like symptoms, scored 13 in defeat.

Paul Millsap chipped in 19 points, while Andrei Kirilenko scored 14 off the bench for the Jazz. Guard Deron Williams had 10 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.

"Deron Williams is a phenomenal player, he is a tough cover on the defensive end and Thabo (Sefolosha) is one of the best defenders in the league. So we decided to switch off, and he did a great job, unbelievable job," said Durant. "It was fun watching him play defense like that, and helping our team out. He has grown as a player, and he always helps us out on our defensive end."

Utah will finish its homestand with games against Portland, Memphis and Indiana.

The Bulls, who are just 2-6 on the road, have won three straight over Utah, including a 101-100 thriller in Salt Lake City last year. Former Bull Larry Hughes buried a long jumper at the buzzer to win that one.
