(Sports Network) - The Southwest Division-leading Dallas Mavericks shoot for their fifth straight win when they host the Sacramento Kings tonight at American Airlines Center.

The Mavericks posted their fourth consecutive victory with Wednesday's 99-94 overtime triumph versus San Antonio, as Dirk Nowitzki scored 11 of his season- high 41 points in overtime to lead the way. He also grabbed 12 boards for the Mavericks, who received 17 points and 11 boards from Drew Gooden.

"He's playing great basketball and think he's one of the top guys right now in the league and he's really playing at I high level. We need that because of all the injuries we have right now and he's doing everything he can to carry this team," Gooden said of Nowitzki.

Jason Terry ended with 13 points in a winning effort. The Mavs, who improved to 4-1 at home, were without Josh Howard (ankle), Shawn Marion (ankle), and Erick Dampier (illness). Dampier and Marion are questionable for Friday, while Howard is out indefinitely.

Sacramento, meanwhile, hope to get back into the win column when it kicks off a three-game road trip Friday in Dallas. It is 1-3 away from ARCO Arena this season.

The Kings, who will also visit Houston and Memphis on the trek, had their four-game winning streak come to an end with Tuesday's 101-87 loss versus the Chicago Bulls. Donte Greene scored a career-high 24 points and Tyreke Evans totaled 20 points for the Kings, who got 13 points from Beno Udrih.

"A lot of times we felt like we were rushing things. Coach always says to be quick, but be patient," said Greene. "Play hard and aggressive, but also be smart at the same time too. In some instances we were doing that in the game, other times we were definitely going too fast."

In injury news for Sacramento, forward Andre Nocioni (hip) is listed as questionable against the Mavs.

Dallas won three of four matchups with Sacramento and is 10-2 in the past 12 contests in the series. Sacramento has lost 11 straight after winning its last two at American Airlines Center.
