DALE CITY, Va. - Neighbors is Dale City are on high alert Monday after two teenage girls were sexually assaulted on Halloween night.

(web | news) Police said three teenagers were walking along Dale Boulevard near the Glendale Plaza Shopping Center just after 9 p.m. Saturday night when a man with a gun forced them into some nearby woods.
"All three abducted at gun point, they were taken to the back of the plaza, and that's where he, the suspect, allegedly sexually assaulted two of the three victims," said Ofc. Erika Hernandez, Prince William County Police.
Investigators are going door-to-door, talking with neighbor in hopes of locating the suspect, who they said fled the scene.
"It's gotten to the point now where you have to protect children all the time, day night, school, wherever," said Jim Conrad, who lives in the neighborhood.
Neighbors tell ABC 7 News they noticed nothing on the night of the attacks.
"I live for 7 years here, never seen anything like that," said Elizabeth Miranda, a neighbor.
"Nothing is safe now, even though we live in a safe neighbor, you never know what's out there," said Abdul Kamara, a neighborhood resident.
The teens were treated at a nearby hospital.
The suspect is described as having a medium build, between 5'6 and 5'8 in height. Officials say the suspect's face may have been covered with the hood of a sweat shirt or a ski mask.
