ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Gov. Martin O'Malley says Maryland likely will need to make another $200 million in budget cuts next month.
The cuts by the Board of Public Works will be needed because the state needs to continue fiscal adjustments due to dropping revenues.
O'Malley spoke about the state's budget problems Monday night on a new show on Maryland Public Television called "Ask the Governor," which is hosted by MPT's Jeff Salkin.
O'Malley already has cut the state budget by an estimated $2.2 billion since he took office in January 2007.
