This morning, Barack Obama dropped daughters Malia and Sasha off at the private school in Chicago they attend.
Here in the District, it seems that many of the local schools are lobbying for the Obama daughters to attend. Georgetown Day School, Maret and Sidwell Friends are all reported to be on the short list of schools the Obamas are considering.
The new First Family will have to adjust to new digs, too. They are moving from a three-story home in the Chicago suburbs to a 55,000 square foot, 200-year-old mansion.
Living at the White House comes with its share of perks. The Obamas will have a staff of 80 to serve them, a bowling alley, swimming pool, and a running track. There is even a hidden outdoor play space for the girls and the friends they invite over -- once they decide which school they will attend.
