Road Shut Down After Car Strikes Woman

Police say the woman has been taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are investigating.
Due to the accident, southbound Stanton Road was completely shut down, westbound lanes on Suitland Parkway were blocked from Alabama Avenue to the accident scene and northbound traffic on Stanton Road was detoured to Eastbound Suitland Parkway.
