Baltimore, Md. - Police say a Baltimore man charged in the rape of a Towson University student has also been charged in a rape three days earlier in a parking lot at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
Baltimore police spokeswoman Nicole Monroe says property belonging to the first victim was found at the scene of the second attack. Twenty-four-year-old Ian Murphy is charged in the attacks.
The Towson rape occurred on Oct. 6 when a 21-year-old woman was attacked as she unloaded groceries near her apartment on Knollwood Road. In the Baltimore case, a 22-year-old woman said she was threatened and raped by a man she met while waiting for a ride home from work.
