WVa's White Sits Out Syracuse Game

Washington - uarterback Pat White was scratched from West Virginia's game against Syracuse on Saturday due to a head injury. White was dressed in warmups at kickoff and backup Jarrett Brown got his second career start.
White left the Mountaineers' 24-17 victory over Rutgers a week ago after being gang tackled in the third quarter. Coach Bill Stewart said White didn't suffer a concussion but the quarterback said he remembered little about the game.
