(Sports Network) - Fourth-seeded German Sabine Lisicki and fifth-seeded Slovak Magdalena Rybarikova were a pair of second- round winners Wednesday at the $145,000 Tashkent Open.
Lisicki handled Russian qualifier Alexandra Panova 7-5, 6-1, while Rybarikova topped Russian Vesna Manasieva 6-1, 7-5 on the hardcourts at Tashkent Tennis Centre. Lisicki will face Poland's Urszula Radwanska, while Rybarikova will encounter Romanian Ioana Raluca Olaru in Friday's quarterfinals.
Two other second-round results saw Raluca Olaru overcome qualifier Ksenia Palkina of Kyrgyzstan 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 and Radwanska defeat Georgian Sofia Shapatava 7-5, 6-2.

The first round concluded here on Wednesday when Dutch qualifier Arantxa Rus came from behind to best Uzbekistani wild card Vlada Ekshibarova 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.
On Thursday, Rus will meet top-seeded Chinese Shuai Peng in a second-rounder.
The 2008 Tashkent champion will collect $22,925.
