A Maryland youth football coach accused of threatening a referee with a gun faced a judge Monday. 31-year-old Old Town Gators coach Aaron McCown is charged with getting a gun from the Aspen Hill Park parking lot and threatening a referee after the official called the game early for poor behavior.

Witnesses say the threats did not end until police arrived and McCown fled.

McCown is a three time convicted felon. The league only checks for sex offenses.

The Federal and State Governments care more about animal safety childrens safety.

For them to only check for sex offences is crazy there are other offences out there!! This dude proved he was a complete nut. His record proved that also. They could have saved alot of time and trouble by just checking him out.
