Newman planned for charitable legacy after death

A friend of the late Paul Newman says the actor made plans for his charity work to continue after his death.Robert Forrester is vice chairman of the Newman's Own Foundation. He said Sunday that the actor began planning several years ago to make sure profits from his food company would always benefit charities worldwide.
The charities include camps for children suffering from life-threatening diseases. Newman and his company gave away more than $250 million.
Newman died Friday at age 83.
