Kotelnik Tops Kimura For Wba Jr. Welterweight Belt

(Sports Network) - Andreas Kotelnik bested Norio Kimura in a 12- round unanimous decision to retain the WBA junior welterweight crown at Sportpalace Ukraine on Saturday.
The 30-year-old Kotelnik (30-2-1, 13 KOs), fighting in front of his hometown crowd, scored an easy victory over the Japanese Kimura (34-6-2, 18 KOs) with scores of 118-110, 119-109 and 119-109 to record his sixth consecutive victory.
