Taurasi Paces Mercury Over Silver Stars

Cappie Pondexter added 19 points, DeWanna Bonner 11 and Tangela Smith 10 for the Mercury, who won for the third time in four games.
Sophia Young scored 29 for the Silver Stars, who are 2-3 this month. Ann Wauters finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Belinda Snell tallied 11 points in defeat.
The Silver Stars played a majority of the game without head coach Dan Hughes, who was ejected in the first quarter for arguing.
