Police say four people were injured following a crash involving a motorcycle in Alexandria (web|news) Saturday.
The incident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. at West Braddock Road and Van Dorn Street. Police say one motorcyclist is in very serious condition and the other suffered non-life threatening injuries. Another vehicle was involved in the incident, and its two passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Van Dorn Street, a major commuter route, was shut down for hours as a result. It has now reopened.
