DNA Leads to Arrest in 1980 Randallstown Rape

Baltimore County Police say DNA evidence from a 1980 rape has led to charges against a state inmate serving time for a 2002 rape.
Forty-eight-year-old Edward Medley has been charged with raping a woman in Randallstown in 1980. Police say Medley broke into the woman's home and held a knife against her neck while he raped her.
Medley, who is imprisoned at Roxbury Correctional Institute after being convicted of a 2002 Baltimore County rape.
Police say forensic investigators connected the 1980 rape and the 2002 rape last month and Medley was charged. He is still being held at Roxbury.
