Officials say the body of a 51-year-old Indian Head man was found in the Potomac River after a 36-hour search.
Maryland Natural Resources Police spokesman Sgt. Ken Turner says Stanley Langley had been missing since Monday night, when his wife called police to report that he had not returned from a fishing trip.
Langley's 17-foot motorboat was found later that night about two miles south of the Marshall Hall boat ramp. His body was recovered near Hallowing Point, Va., around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Turner says Langley's body was sent to the medical examiner's office in Baltimore.
