Three people are dead after three separate motorcycle accidents Saturday.

The latest happened in Montgomery County (web|news) Saturday night at the intersection of Strathmore and Keswick Lane in north Bethesda.

A police spokesman said that officers were called to the scene where they found the man suffering from trauma from the accident.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

Again, at approximately 6:30 p.m., D.C. Police responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident at the intersection of 7th and M Streets in Southeast. Police confirmed the driver of the motorcycle was transported to MedStar where he was pronounced dead.

The first crash occurred Saturday afternoon when a motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a car in Aspen Hill.

Montgomery County officers said the man died at the scene on Georgia Avenue between Bel Pre Road and Connecticut Avenue.

Investigators shut down the roadway for several hours following the crash. It's not clear at this time who was responsible for the wreck or if speed played a factor. The driver of the car did stay at the scene.

And authorities have released the identity of the woman who died in a motorcycle accident in the District on Thursday.

20-years-old Katrina Matthews was thrown from the back of a motorcycle when it collided with a car. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to police, the motorcycle was driving down the wrong side of Southern Avenue, near 7th Street in Southeast when the accident happened.

The driver of the bike and car were both taken to the hospital.
