Activities in Schools and Libraries Canceled in Montgomery County

After-school and evening activities in the following Montgomery County (web|news) school buildings have been canceled due to lack of water caused by a major water main break:
Elementary schools:

- Sherwood
- Sargent Shriver
- Stonegate
- Weller Road
- Wheaton Woods
Middle schools:
- Farquhar
- Redland
- Rosa Parks
High schools:
- Damascus
- Edison Center
- Kennedy
- Magruder
- Sherwood
- Wheaton
Special schools:
- Mark Twain
- Smith Center
Libraries that have been also included:
- Aspen Hill
- Damascus
- Marilyn J. Praisner (Fairland)
- Gaithersburg
- Germantown
- Olney
- Quince Orchard
- Wheaton
- White Oak
Community use in schools and libraries that are not impacted, will continue as scheduled. Community use is expected to resume as scheduled on Tuesday, June 17
