Two People Shot, One Killed Near Iverson Mall

Prince George's County Police are investigating a double shooting that has left a victim dead.
It happened around 10:15 p.m. in the 4000 block of 28th Avenue near Iverson Street. It's about a block from the Iverson Mall.
Police said the couple was driving when they were shot. The man was pronounced dead on the scene and the woman was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
No word on a suspect or a motive.
