Authorities are trying to recover a man from Lake Montclair, after a canoe he and a woman were in flipped over.
Prince William County (web|news) Fire Captain Taylor said they were in the process of a water recovery, not a water rescue. The 28-year-old male went missing around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and his body was found around 10:30 p.m. after an evening-long search.
The 44-year-old female was able to swim to shore, but the male was said to be a non-swimmer and he did not make it to shore.
Neither the man or the woman were wearing flotation devices. In addition to boat and helicopter searches, divers were also called to the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been confirmed, but police do not suspect foul play.
