An Anne Arundel County couple is facing prostitution charges following an investigation by the county police Vice Unit.
Police say 22-year-old Elizabeth Jeffers of West River advertised an escort service via the Internet and operated it with the help of her husband.
According to police, a vice detective answered the advertisement and scheduled an appointment. That's when Jeffers allegedly solicited the detective for sex in exchange for $170.
Police say Jeffers' 24-year-old husband, Robert, provided her transportation and received some of the money from her transactions.
