Backing out transactions after the fact would still give the customer a receipt. I think most receipts are numbered, so the store and the police would have the backed out numbers that matched the receipts the lady had. That is even more proof then having no receipt at all. I doubt this was an action taken spur of the moment by store security and the police, give them a little credit. Chances are they waited a couple months knowing this was going on.

I wonder what Snowflake would say if they were good anglo Canadians who did this. You shouldn't make this into a racial thing till you know the facts. And it looks like the cops didn't want to know the facts since she said she had receipts for the merchandise but they didn't even look at them.
