A Virginia State Trooper saved a mans' life by pulling him out of a burning vehicle along I-66 around noon on Wednesday.
The trooper defied the flames of the burning van to pull the man to safety as stunned motorists watched along the major thoroughfare.
Trooper Kenneth Brown was on the left shoulder writing a ticket when he saw the Dodge Caravan colliding with other cars on Westbound 66 near Route 28.
The van then hit the embankment and started to catch fire. That's when Trooper Brown ran across four lanes of traffic to rescue the driver. Brown reportedly busted the driver's window, getting the man out just in time.
In all, four people were hurt, including the driver. Trooper Brown was treated for minor cuts and burns, but has been released from the hospital.
