"I hope not all Spanish speak like you" one saids. So with all the years he has been living around too many non -Americans he has never had a conversation with one. I for my part am proud of my acomplishments, I have learned a new language, I have learn to love and respect the beauty of this culture while continue to love and respect the beaty of mine. I have had the pleasure to share with a variety of people, White, Ethiopians, Asians, Arab and others. Dont fight and get angry, the majority of Americans see immigration as a problem that need to be resolve but they are not a group of ignorants who fill their mouth with angry comments that resolve nothing.

I think Illegals continue to be some very lucky individuals as they still get to educate their kids in our schools, use our hospitals and burden our ploice. If you're illegal - your kids shouldn't be in our schools taking English as a Second language courses that my tax dollars pay for. Also, if you go to the emergency room - we should do the minimal work on you possible to stabilize you and check your immigration status and deport you. I'm all for diversity but English is also the language we speak in america - during the course of my day I shouldn't hear a spanish word uttered unless it's the punchline of a really good joke. It's easy to get mad at Prince William County, but they didn't make the laws their enforcing - the federal government did. If PWC stays strong and keeps this up it will drive them to other localities and eventually save the county ten fold the money it costed to inact the ordinances.

They've even messed up the Beanie Weanie. That place use to be THE place other than Ben's Chili Bowl for great half-smokes. The owner got rid of employees that had been there for years. The grub there during their employment was simply off the charts. I went there about 3 months ago and noticed that the owner had changed workers. I ordered, and proceeded to watch them prepare what I ordered. I can't begin to go into detail what I witnessed (mods will not allow it), but after one bite, it went into the trash. I'm EXTREMELY picky where I eat, at one point in my career I was a Health Inspector, oh boy, the stories I could tell and what I witnessed still give me the creeps all these years later. And I ask all posters here from DC, MD, or VA. Is it me, or has all of your favorite food joints gone to $#@^? Nothing and I mean NOTHING is done the way it used to be, or taste the way it use to taste. We hardly EVER eat out anymore. Anyone eating out at what they "think" is a decent Restaurant, next time you do so, ask the Manager on duty who does your exterminating work? it's a legal question. The first thing they'll say is "Why are you asking"? that is the wrong reply, they should immediately give you that info. Any other answer than the truth.......get out of that place immediately. When you go to these fast food joints, WATCH them prepare your meals, I'd never go through a drive through. If the employees are not wearing gloves or hair nets (don't let them tell you that laws have been passed that allow using hand cleaners (purell, etc).

Yes simple1 Arlington is doing so good. Thats why so many of the 14/15 floor condos being built had to turn into rentals, and can barely make a go at that. I am afraid my statements (they were never intended as fact) do support my arguement. I was born in Arlington and have lived here for 37 years. Slowly Arlington will, and is, going down hill. As I posted earlier, I had the forsight to sell my properties before this happens. Now, go stand at the wieny beanie, I may need someone to help me take my trash out tomorrow.

Your people lost a war in your country, ran like cowards and illegally entered another country and now want to fight for rights in that country? Did I leave anything out?

First off Rifrat if you didnt want a response dont post simple as that. The majority of hispanics in PWC are from El Salvador ill take a good guess and say about 80 percent are from El Salvador. The rules of the game changed once illegals started DEMANDING things. It's a slap in my face for them to DEMAND things that I can't get because I "earn too much money". I would love free medical care, housing assistance, food coupons, and everything else that they DEMAND. For me, and countless others, the reality is that we have to work. Where do they get off marching and protesting in my country? How do you think I'd be treated if I did that in El Salvador or Mexico? Here's a thought. Why don't they stay in their own country and DEMAND better from their governments? It's funny how quickly these immigrants go from poor laborers in their countries to political activists in mine.

First off when i said some laws are justifed to be broken was for life/death situations only. Meaning if someone i saw in the street just got Shot and is bleeding to death, im not going to just leave him there, imma drive him myself to a hospital and not gonna wait for the traffic lights to turn green so that i may go, i would drive and break the traffic laws so that i can help someone live. I have also seem that i cant knock any sense into people who see the one sided view as you do as well. So what do you think the illegals are doing? Making there money and just driving into fairfax and spending it there? No they make their money and spend it back into PWC so they also contribute to PWC budget. I for one stopped my donations to the PWCPD for this sole reason. I rather give it to better county's who worry about more serious things than someone looking for work. Now PWC Fire department cant get better equipment because PWC feels they rather check for papers... All i can say is WOW priority Levels have really gone down, and PWC is a House of Cards thats gonna collapse because of poor budget management.

Simple1-Obviously you have issues. Most law abiding and respectful people do NOT break the law, but find legal means to feed their kids. Are you advocating breaking the laws, including murder and other crimes, as an excuse of having to provide for your family? Your illegal friends don't seem to care whose feet they step all over to get here, and use allegations of racism and other excuses as a cloak to fend off any defense of their REAL issue-their illegal status. What makes you think that the illegals have any more right to be here than other legal immigrants do? Are illegal's needs and wants any more pressing than someone who comes here legally?

Consider this: a man and his family break into your home and live there, rent free, for years. They are a large family and use your house, your property, your food and your resources for their own family, while they ship off most of their money to other family in another country. You pay the mortgage, utlities, school fees, medical expenses and food for them. When you try to get them to leave, you find that they are permitted to stay because they are hardworking, have children and need food and housing. And you HAVE to continue to pay for them. Does their situation justify or excuse their behavior? Are YOU a racist or another name if you wanted them out? This is what you are advocating when you try to justify illegals coming and staying here by claiming they need to feed their kids, earn a living, etc. Not everyone else abuses others or the system to do so, and legal immigrants are welcome to this country. What is pathetic are illegals demanding the same treatment and benefits legal immigrants get, and who openly and willingly disrespect their own countrymen by jumping ahead of them in line to get it. Further, to make excuses for their illegal actions and level unfounded and unsupported allegations of racism to deflect attention from the real issue IS even more pathetic.

Sounds like a reasonable approach even though the original policy was legally justified. Certainly more aggressive than Arlington's "welcoming and inclusive" sanctuary for criminal aliens or Governor Kaine's refusal to allow State Troopers to do ICE checks for anything less than felonies.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think that the population growth in NOVA isn't directly related to illegal immigration. The Hispanic population has more than tripled in the past twenty years. That, my friend, is not because it's less expensive to live there than other places in the Metro area. It's because illegal immigrants have been settling in places like PWC (because of its policies) and spitting out anchor babies to increase their numbers in this country. I'll be the first to admit that the plan worked. There are places like PWC all over the country and a network setup to disperse newly arriving illegal immigrants throughout all of them. This has been going on for decades, but I think people are upset now because illegal immigrants are now DEMANDING rights in this country. How the hec can you march for rights in a country that you don't even belong to? I also don't understand why illegals try to use the Constitution for protection. I though the US Constitution was for US Citizens.

I'm starting to agree with Tuckmeister. Trying to explain these things to you is useless. You will always find an excuse/reason/argument to justify illegal entry into this country. Here's a thought. Give me your address and I'll move in (with my entire family), eat your food, live off of your income, use your medical coverage and everything else I need to sustain life for me an my family and I just want you to look the other way. You'll never even notice that we're there.
