The First Lady and Jenna Bush promoted their new children's book bringing light to the issues of literacy.

On their third day of their book tour, Laura and Jenna are were still full of energy. "We're glad we're not exhausted yet," said Jenna. "Read All About It!" features Tyrone, a second-grade class clown who calls the library boring and reading "so last year". Tyrone is based on a number of children the two former teachers had in their classes.

"We had been telling these stories to each other for years about the different children we had taught and we thought it was the perfect time to write this book," said Laura.

In the story, Tyrone learns to love reading, something the Bush family has always been passionate about. "My parents read to us every night. That was as routine as three meals-a-day, that was something we always did," Jenna said.

"Writing this book with Jenna now reminded me of all those times I read to Barbara and Jenna when they were little and there was something that was really sweet about working with my grown up daughter and having all these memories," said Laura.

The book tour ends May first, only nine days before Jenna's Texas wedding. When asked if she was feeling stressed out about the big day, she replied, "I don't want to get caught up in the silly details, in my opinion, on the actual day. We made a decision to get married and that's what I think is important."  "And we've made great plans and they're all in motion, we hope," said Laura.

A portion of the proceeds will go toward Teach for America and The New Teacher Project.
