I find it interesting that the web story and the television story did not report the fact that this area is constantly having to deal with massive sink holes - at that exact same exit - and we all were just wondering when the next one would happen. There was a guy in a small pick up that was swallowed up at that exit in the last two years. There is a concrete plant at that exit and it's been debated for years if it was causing the sink holes from rerouting the water table, digging - all of this coupled with the massive construction pit next to the interstate at that exit - and finally the rain we had for a few days last week. They'll fix this one and then there will be another one soon.

well .. I guess they are looking around waiting for the numerous dump trucks to show up with the fill dirt and eboy again I agree wit you .. looks to be a bit longer than a "few hours' ......by the way .. out in California and down in florida where sink holes are humongous .. this would rate as a pothole ...
