God Bless Officer Stamp and his family as well as the responding Officers who unfortunately had to do what they had to do. And God Bless the Thin Blue Line.

I feel sorry for all involved. This is very sad. my prayers go to the family of the fallen officer and the officer who shot him. He did what he was trained to do. to ArmedInNoVa, he may have been working an off duty assignment, I guess we will find out when the investigation is over.

Looks like a hot head to me.. as the song goes..."I fought the law and the law won"

He drew a gun on a cop. He should have known better.

Extremely sad but a 44 year veteran of the police force should know better. Why didn't he identify himself as an officer? Why after being tasered did he draw his firearm? Seems like the officer who shot him had no choice but to protect himself and others.

1) why was he wearing illegally posessed brass knuckles? 2) why was he carrying a gun if he was drinking at a bar? 3) why did he try to pull a gun on a fellow officer?

Wowzer
65 years old and still on the force???

I didn't think they could stay on active duty to such a ripe old age.

Awful story. My condolences to the off-duties family. And my support to the on-duty officer.
