Mugabe Will Not Attend Zambian Summit

President Robert Mugabe will not attend a summit of regional leaders on his country's election crisis, Zimbabwe's state-run newspaper said Saturday.The Herald cites Secretary for Foreign Affairs Joey Bimha as saying that Mugabe will not attend the Saturday meeting in Lusaka, Zambia. Bimha says he and three Cabinet ministers will represent Zimbabwe instead.
The paper says Bimha made his comments to Zimbabwe's state-run broadcaster late Friday.
Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai, who says he won Zimbabwe's presidential election outright, arrived in Lusaka on Friday night.
