Man Charged in Sexual Assault of Elementary School Student

Fairfax County (web | news) police report that on March 20, they received a report that the girl had been touched inappropriately by a teacher from her elementary school.
The alleged assault occured between February 1 and February 14 at the victim's home, where 54-year-old Rodney Bower of Alexandria (web | news) was tutoring her.
Bower turned himself in to police on Thursday and was charged with aggravated sexual battery.
