Koehn Re-Signs With Mystics

The Washington Mystics have re-signed 3-point specialist Laurie Koehn, who returns for her fourth season with the team. Koehn, who was re-signed Monday, has made 46 percent of her 3-point attempts since joining the Mystics as a free agent in 2005. She led the league with a 47 percent average as a rookie, and last year won the WNBA's 3-point shootout during All-Star weekend.
Koehn finished her college career at Kansas State as the NCAA's all-time leader in 3-pointers made with 392.
Despite her outside shooting, Koehn has played sparingly with the Mystics. She averaged 3.9 minutes per game last season and scored a total of 40 points in 28 games. Of her 13 field goals, only one wasn't a 3-pointer.
