WASHINGTON - With just eight days until the inauguration, Capitol Hill is starting to look like it's ready to host more than a million people. That is with the exception of one very essential thing -- portable toilets.

It may be easier to get a glimpse at the new first family than to get a place in line at a port-a-potty. There will reportedly be 5,000 port-a-potties in place on Inauguration Day. Some Metro stations will have them outside, but when you do the math, either way, it's not a fun equation.

While many residents are excited to be a part of history, some are wondering, where are they going to go if they need to go?

"It looks pretty busy. I've noticed the port-a-potties," said Andrew Coak, a Vermont resident.

"I'm glad they have lots of bathrooms that's what I've noticed. I'm sure it's going to be full of people," noted D.C. resident Nola Chow.

Joggers compared the inauguration preparations to that of the July 4 celebration on the National Mall. But this time, there are going to be millions of more spectators.

"To use the bathroom is going to be one of the biggest things, next to the line for beer probably I would imagine," said Coak.

"I don't understand how it's all going to come together, somebody [is] coordinating this and that's a huge, daunting task," said Andrew Lalond, a Canadian resident.

Those who plan to attend said they will have to be practical about how to deal with the port-a-potty lines. "Um, deal or hold it. I don't know," said Courtney Heller, a Vermont resident.
