Park Service Holds Meetings on Mall Updates

Officials are offering the public several chances this week to weigh in on possible changes to the National Mall.
Public meetings are being held Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at the Old Post Office Tower, at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest.
Tuesday's meeting will go from 4 to 8 p.m. and will focus on design elements and visitor facilities. Wednesday's meeting goes from noon to 4 p.m. and will deal with topics such as historical preservation, cultural resources and landscapes. Saturday's event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is to focus on recreation and public events.
