Metrorail is reopening, but officials are warning that the system could close early as a second major storm approaches the Mid-Atlantic region.

Three days after the storm ended, D.C. residents are still struggling to dig out and navigate snow-clogged side streets across the area. With another snow storm just hours away, people are fearing they'll never get out.

Amtrak tran service will operate limited Acela Express and Northeast Regional service from New York to Washington on Tuesday, February 9 as crews clean up from the weekend's snow storm.

Crews are already preparing for the worst as another storm system moves closer to the region. The D.C. National Guard is requiring all emergency and essential personnel to report to work beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
