Attorney David Rivkin served in the Justice Department under the first President Bush. He wrote an Op-ED in the Wall Street Journal saying the secret memos the Obama administration recently released prove there was no torture of detainees. He spoke with me during the 5pm hour of Live Tonight on Tuesday and outlined why he thinks the harsh interrogation techniques stopped well short of torture. It should be noted that we asked the ACLU and Amnesty International to send a representative to provide the other side of this issue, but neither group had anyone available to appear on the show.
